a bum's chronicle: destination - manila zoo episode 1

edits: none
model: me and toyo
location: manila zoo

we are supposed to go to enchanted kingdom (a local theme park here) today but sadly i just found out that the said theme park was closed due to some reason i don't know. i immediately told her that sad bit of news and we were both at a dismay. i didn't prepare any plan B this time so i was just stumped as to what we'll do and where to go but everything turned out awesome than what i expected and i am now literally unbreakable... rewind to what happened ealier...

as always, i was there at their house today since i promised to go with her to encash her cheque somewhere in makati. she was having all sorts of sh*t that early with her friend due to the incident that happened the day before. we were scheduled to leave their house at 10 a.m. but we ended up leaving at past 11 already. we ate lunch somewhere in monumento and proceeded to the bank (which is approximately 45 mins away) to have the cheque encashed. we then decided to meet with her friend just to catch a quick chat. well, she was actually the only one that went to the building, i waited at some convenience store near the area ^_^. after that she then asked me:

toyo: what now?
me: hhhmm.. let us proceed with what we decided earlier.
toyo: are you sure?
me: yeah!
toyo: off we go to manila zoo then?
me: yeah! this will be the first time am goin there!

we took a cab since we both don't know how to get there via normal route *shy*. that was truly, honestly the first time that i got to the place and i was so psyched that i didnt know where to go first hahaha. there were some nice attractions including them pythons, crocs and uuhhhmmmm... ooohhh did i mention the pythons!? we took tons of pictures that the park and the animals turned out to be just an accessory hahha. it's like what gyeon woo sez in the movie my sassy girl and i quote "when i am with her, i dunno how the day will turn out" and it is this spontaneity that i really love on our relationship - it keeps things fresh. the one thing that we both agreed that we loved on the park was this kiddie zoo where you can actually touch them slitherin reptiles and put them around your neck. we both loved the python and the crocs and this "love" birds. of course we had to pay 40 bucks to get inside the kiddie zoo but it was worth it since i saw how happy she was. we did a lot of silly and stupid things while on the park and the camera witnessed them all - making funny faces, doing some crazy stuff, running away from that damn ostrich, piggyback riding (yeah! she's fond of that) and literally talking to some birds and other animals there. when i am with her, i can just be me and not put any poker face (which i mentioned for a gazillion times already). i know, i know but i just really love her so damn much gggaahhh!! after the zoo escapade, we went to SM mall of asia to wait for her bestfriend...
